Designer, HGTV star, and blogger Emily Henderson [1] never fails to inspire us with her fantastic style, so we were thrilled to hear that we could get a piece of her personal vintage decor collection. Emily is teaming up with Chairish [2], the online marketplace for chic vintage decor and furniture, to auction off some of her sure-to-be-coveted vintage design treasures (think navy velvet headboards, kitschy framed paintings, and hand-woven baskets). "With my growing business and family, it was time that my children's space took priority over my ever-growing collection of furniture and decor," Emily joked in a press release. The best part? All items are priced with a starting bid of just $1! This is the first time Chairish has hosted an auction, but it will not be the last. The site is adding the auction format as a complement to its existing marketplace. It's great for sellers because they can offload goods quickly, while sellers can get grab goods at gotta-go prices.
