The "Halloween Queen" Decorated Her Christmas Tree, and the Sparkling Result Will Transfix You

You won't find chubby, smiling snowmen or basic baubles on Christine McConnell's Christmas tree. Rather, the confectioner behind Netflix's gothic baking show The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell prefers to decorate her balsam fir with spooky ornaments she made by hand. Did you expect anything less from the crafty genius?

The 37-year-old star made our Halloween-obsessed hearts soar when she shared a peek at her DIY tree decorations for this year, including a Santa hat-adorned skull, a creepy red spider, and a sparkly bat tree topper that's way cooler than any basic star or angel we've ever seen. Her tree was flanked by a sinister Siamese cat lamp with glowing eyes and one of her shiny spiders, which clung to the adjacent wall. "I tried something new by making a bunch of nonedible ornaments this year," Christine wrote while sharing a few gorgeous photos of her masterpieces on Facebook. "It was so much fun, I might make some more to give as presents!" What a sweet idea!

Keep reading to feel inspired by the queen of Halloween's spooky-glam Christmas decorations, and you just might want to copy a few of her ideas for your own tree this year. Pssst, Netflix: can you make a Christmas special about these? Perhaps The Festive Creations of Christine McConnell? It's what the people want.
