Cool Idea: Artwork as Headboard

Here's a post from the OnSugar blog Apartmentalizing:

Since graduating from my twin bed in high school, I've always been too lazy and cheap to invest in a headboard.  I know there are lots of do-it-yourself solutions, but screwing things into my wall or bed always seemed like too big of a hassle to me.  I love this idea from HGTV's website of using a large, colorful piece of artwork as a headboard of sorts.  Now if only I knew where to find a cool painting for not too much money . . .

I was going to say the same thing, Yesi, make your own painting!! The cost would be nominal compared to buying framed art. Another suggestion would be to get one of those sticker wall designs that can peel off easily if you get bored with it. It would make a great headboard. My favorite headboard of all time was the blackboard in Joseph Gordon Levits bedroom in "(500) Days of Summer.) It was genius . . . if you can draw well.
