Cool Idea: Laura Cattano's Overhead Lighting Solution

To compensate, I assume, for strict rental apartment regulations, Laura Cattano, who recently gave Apartment Therapy a tour of her Brooklyn one bedroom, discreetly ran a wire from an outlet and then hung her lantern from a hook on the ceiling. I did this, too! I strung three oblong paper lanterns this way, in a cluster over my bed. I loaded them with 25 watt bulbs, and plugged them all into one dimmer, which I discretely mounted on the back of my headboard - voila! - instant mood lighting.
