Well, i see that Ted Baker is the same concept worldwide. I recently made a post. I think that Greek store is more beautiful. http://www.rdekko.com/2010/01/ted-baker-ted-baker-athens.html

I personally think that is really weird and wouldn't want it in my home.

I love Ted Baker! I'm not sure I'd be a fan of this in my own home, but in the store it works. :)

I wouldn't drill a hole in a book, and if they were just stacked I know my clumsy self would knock them over and cause the whole table to collapse. Bad idea.

I hate it. Not only do all the different colors drive me nuts, but I'm a little nuts, and I need things to be squared and neat looking and this just doesn't fit that at all.

I love seeing books used as table legs! I used to have an old armchair and tiny end table both missing a leg that I replaced with books. I did not drill into them, just used them to prop both pieces. I never had a problem with either getting knocked into as it was in my little reading corner that didn't get much traffic. I loved being able to switch the books to suit my moods, and it became a little game of mine to play with the book titles, colours, etc. to create something interesting!

I couldn't drill into a book either. and I don't care for the table too much.

its kind of cool but I wouldn't buy it or anything.

I really hate that table. The green is puketastic and the books clash. Anyways, I agree with rabid. It would kill me to drill into a book!! ...Unless it was something like "The Road."

Ah I see the comment now about drilling but..well it may sound strange but I cannot damage or throw books away, they are practically sacred to me so "no stackie, no usie".

Quirky little idea..but my concerns would be: 1)too easy for someone/the cat/the dog to kick/bump into/play with/want to read said books and therefore knock entire table over! 2)need exactly the right books for the right height or its wobblesville. 3)what if you want to read one of them? :P

I'm sorry, but I don't like it. I like my books on my shelves. :)
