Cool Teenage Bedding

Assisted Living: Cool Teenage Bedding

Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member Blackwithstubby from the Assisted Living group:

Hi my name is Katie and I just recently got permission from my parents (I am only fourteen years old) to redecorate my room. I have most of my bedroom planned out. I am just missing some essential items: the duvet, bedsheets, and comforter. I recently fell in love with a comforter from a store called Delia*s. It was called Hot Spots and although a little obnoxious, it was perfect for the room I have been planning. However, they have discontinued the product.

I love all colors as long as they are not overwhelming, and my favorite color is yellow. Normally I do not like animal prints, unless in certain cases. I do like some florals, but not too many floral patterns. To make my problem worse, the comforter can not be too expensive because I do have a budget constraint. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks, Katie

Hi Katie! Thanks for writing in! Hot Spots is very fun bedding, but I'm sure we can find you something else you'll like! I've rounded up a few other choices I think you might like. Does anyone else have any suggestions for Katie? Please share by commenting below!

I was also going to say try IKEA, and also Urban Outfitters, as I love the bedding in the next post!

i would recommend just wandering target, bed bath & beyond, etc. to see what catches your eye in person. also, there is also the option of picking a fairly neutral (as in not heavily patterned) and layering fun accent pillows and/or shams (which you could sew yourself easily to keep costs down). it's tough to give specific recs without more info about colour scheme and design style, but here's a punchy mod print with a little yellow:
