DIY Candle Votives

DIY: Candle Votives Made With a Common Kitchen Ingredient

We're happy to present a post from Stylelist Home!

Candlelight creates such a lovely ambience at home, but we're always looking for interesting ways to dress up ordinary candle holders. Today's Craft of the Day certainly fits that description. These candle votives are the perfect decor for any space. But the coolest part? These pretty pastel holders are made using . . . salt!

Yes, that's right. These jars are made using little more than epsom salt, Mod Podge and food coloring. They'd make cute gifts, but we also want a couple for ourselves! And because they don't take long to make, why not? For the full tutorial on how to make these salt-covered luminaries and other great crafts, just head over to Stylelist Home. And be sure to check out our other great crafts in our Craft of the Day slideshow.
