Mar 25 2014 - 11:47am

Sure, you could just buy a wreath, but there's something so satisfying about making one yourself. Crafted from branches, blooms, and cotton, this Spring-ready wreath [1] from Terrain has us wanting to grab our girls for an afternoon of crafting (OK, and mimosas). Check out Terrain's easy tutorial and pencil in that crafter-noon, stat!

Here's what you'll need:

Step 1

Start by twisting the ends of the cotton stems together.

Step 2

Trim the willow and red twig branches to your desired length, then wire the branches and cotton together using floral wire.

Step 3

Shape your wired branches into a circular wreath, connecting the ends with floral wire. Leave the tips of some branches loose as desired for a more streamlined or wild shape.

Step 4

Choose your fresh flowers and attach to the wreath with wire, and you're done!
