Trick or Treat! Target Released Its Halloween Collection — Here Are 30 Items We Love

Desire/Acquire: Ruffled Shower Curtain

It was love at first sight when I first set eyes on Anthropologie's Flamenco Shower Curtain ($118). Those cascading ruffles can't help but make a girl's heart go pitter-patter. The same goes for India Rose's Ruffled Shower Curtain ($110). Unfortunately, neither panel is very wallet-friendly — especially considering that shower curtains go for less than $30 at places like Bed Bath & Beyond. Luckily, I've found a ruffled curtain to help you get the look of these beauties for much, much less! Wanna see it?

Urban Outfitters' new Waterfall Ruffle Curtain ($68) boasts those must-have romantic ruffles, but it's nearly half the price of the two above! Of course, it's a curtain, not a shower curtain, so a little DIY-ing is required. Just pull out your sewing machine or drop it off at a seamstress to have button holes sewn for your shower curtain hooks! If you want some color on yours, try dyeing it with Rit Dye.

I would love curtains like that! Not sure if my boyfriend would love it in our bedroom, but maybe in a solid color...too bad it's a bit out of my price range.

As far as the Anthropologie one, I think the price is fine, as the curtain is made of a good material (canvas and cotton), and there's a lot of fabric. Granted, I'm unfamiliar with the workmanship, but if it's good workmanship, it's a fair price, in my opinion. I'm comparing this shower curtain to a drapery panel. A good drapery panel with good fabric and good workmanship is pricey. Again, in my opinion, I think it's worth it, as it would last for years (with it's beauty and function).

I've had my eye on the Anthro one for SO long, but I'm waiting until we own to invest in super cute stuff like this...

Oh good call, maya_m. I totally didn't see that one. Thanks for sharing!

The Urban one is about 20 inches shorter on the width than the shower curtains. You'd have to buy two to make sure you'd cover the shower, which means you're back at the same price point.

I like the Anthropolgie one a lot, but I agree, it might be a little TOO femenine for my fiance.

I like that idea - very girly

They're both beautiful. I might prefer the look of the regular curtain though.

I'm NOT a fan. And for $118 you would think they'd look a little better.

I have both the Anthropologie one and the Urban Outfitters one. While I love them both, there is a noticeable difference in quality/materials. The Urban one is great as a curtain, but the material would not work as a shower curtain.

Absolutely love this, but it's too expensive for a shower curtain!
