Do You Have a Dress Form?

A dress form can be a quirky design accessory, and if you're crafty, it's helpful too. I just bought this 1920s-era dress form from a friend, and I am absolutely in love with it. If you don't have room for an actual dress form, you can get the next best thing with Ballard Designs Laundry Room Prints ($49-89). Whether it's for sewing or just for show, do you own a dress form?

i've always wanted one but thought the shape might scare me if i saw it out of the corner of my eye in the middle of the night or coming home! i have considered a dress form shaped wall decal recently, like this one:

Whoa, what happened to my comment? I was trying to say I just changed my pic to show my dress form, I bought it on eBay for about $50 which included shipping.

I have one, I knit and sell my items on, so I use mine to model my items. It also makes a nice decorate piece in my home when I'm not using it.

My mom had one years ago. I've been looking for one for a while know. I usually walk around the garment district here in NYC in case I come across any discarded ones that are still in good shape. I like the old vintage looking ones. Not really into the modern ones. Back when Chelsea was all factories they were tossed daily, not anymore.
