Do You Have Seating in Your Foyer?

It's pretty standard to have a console table in your front hall, to use as a landing strip for your keys, purse, etc. A bench or another sort of seat is more unusual. But if your home is heavy on the square footage, it's a cute and easy way to fill space. If you live in a tardy household where someone's always waiting on other family members just to get out the door, having a bench is convenient. Do you have seating in your foyer?

agree with casa that your home needs to be heavy on the square footage. would only look right in a foyer large enough- would be amazing to have a chair or bench which would be visually gorgeous as well as practical- much more glamorous to sit on furniture while on the phone that's on a console table rather than on the stairwell :)

no, I have an antique dresser there for storage of linens and phonebooks.

I have a chair in the foyer which comes in handy when I need to lace up my running shoes.

Yes, although it's just a small ottoman/cube thing. Very convenient for putting on shoes or taking them off.
