Do You Have Stained Glass In Your Home?

While stained glass is standard in many older homes, it's less common in recently constructed casas. Of course, if you love the look you can always commission a stained glass artist to create a window or panel for your home. Another good option is to visit salvage yards to find stained glass panels that can be hung over a window.

My husband makes stained glass pieces as a hobby. They have some faux stained glass projects which are simple without all the tools and look almost as impressive. We have one window he hasn't gotten to yet so I bought some batik fabric and mixed 1-4 white glue-water...soaked it... and then hung it in the window like it was wallpaper. Trimmed the edges...beautiful and took only 30 min. When I want to change it all I have to do is wet it and peel it off--then wash the window.
