I have a glass coffee table and it doesn't really matter to me whether or not their is a water ring or not, I'll wipe it up.

I always do! Our coffee table is wood and glass sooooo it's always a good idea to so we don't wreak it! It's more habit now anyways!

I always use them, but my boyfriend never does, if I put his glass on one originally, when he drinks from it and puts it back down, he puts it down right next to the coaster! sigh...but if this is the worst of it, I don't mind haha

We have a glass-top coffee table so we have to! Our other end tables in the front room are painted wood so I have the heavy-duty sandstone coasters in there.

Never! I don't take the time to since my furniture is junk. One of my tables is a cardboard box with a blanket over it... Once I'm out of school hopefully I can make some money and invest in something nice. Then I will definitely try to keep it nice by using them.

I use coasters, just not the ones I bought to use. I am much more likely to set my glass on a piece of junk mail or magazine insert than a real coaster. Silly, though.

Luckily, my table tops are glass or plastic, so there's not really a need to use coasters.

Coasters are absolutely essential in rooms with wood tables, that is, if you want you furniture to stay nice. Another idea is to paste wax the top of everything...that helps in case you have an occasional teenager (or man, he, he) who forgets the rules!

I had some left over 4x4 tiles and I added a piece cork to the bottom. Instant coasters! A great craft project is to print images that you like onto tshirt transfer paper and iron them onto the 4x4 tiles.

Always! I've ruined a nightstand when I didn't! Actually, my cat did as coaster or not she likes to drink out of my cups and ends up knocking them over!

Not at the kitchen table because I have placemats, but I always use them if I'm going to be putting a cold drink down on my wood or glass coffee tables. I HATE the rings that are left behind! I think it's bad for the wood too.

Always! I want my furniture to last and not have rings on them.
