Do You Use Table Cloths?

There are so many wonderful table designs nowadays, sometimes it's almost a shame to use table cloths. In other cases, table cloths are an easy way to hide a piece of furniture that's seen better days, and a simple way to perk up a plain room.

Kind of the opposite, we keep a tablecloth on when we aren't using it so that the wood doesn't get scratched. Two of our kitties have pillows up there so they can look out the front window so we only take if off when everyone sits down together for dinner (which is almost never)

I use a runner on a daily basis and then have a special table cloth for winter. But I also can't remember the last time I used the table :)

Yes, I do because atm I have a scratched up farmhouse table that has seen better days. I am in the market for a new set though and think I have stumbled onto something afforable for myself! OT: Those colors and flowers in the picture are SOOO pretty! Would be lovely for a casual spring or summer wedding! Hehe.

Yes... I love the look of a crisp white table cloth, or that friendly family touch of fresh red and white table cloth. When I can't have the whole table covered I like a runner just for that touch!

on my dining room table- yes, always because it has seen better days and everyone is always throwing things on it (the house configuration puts it in the middle and everyone HAS to go through it). Don't use one on my breakfast/dinette because it is a great distressed white and don't want to hide it.

i think that sometimes it adds that special touch so you don't feel like you're in the same room having the same type of meal
