This weekend marks the kickoff of the annual architecture and interior decor conference Dwell on Design. With informative talks, house tours, and of course, the best in modern design, the conference is a must attend for anyone obsessed with architecture and modern decor. We'll be attending and reporting back from the conference floor, but today, we have a preview of some of the gorgeous pieces that are debuting this year at Dwell on Design. The WUD Plate is functional table art that draws from Danish modern design. Each plate is made from a solid piece of light maple or dark walnut wood, with a colored edging. The plates are food-safe.

We love the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection and are excited to see it again at this year's Dwell on Design conference. The new collection includes four special-edition colors — Greenwich Green, Piccadilly Yellow, Palermo Blue and Annapolis Navy. Each piece is crafted in the foundry located in the town of Kohler, WI, complete with a lifetime limited warranty ensuring it will stand up beautifully to life's daily wear and tear.

Chair No. 35 is available through Half 13, a new collection of sculptural outdoor furniture by Damian Velasquez that is as comfortable as it is modern. Made from powder-coated stainless steel, the collection includes a club chair, a love seat, a coffee table, and an end table. A variety of powder-coated color options are available.

Coral Aluminum by David Trubridge is a new take on Trubridge's puzzlelike lights — this one is made from durable anodized aluminum and is suitable for use inside and outdoors. Choose from black, gold, or silver, or request a custom color.

The City Planter, Potted’s newest design, blends urban vertical gardening and art in these lovely planter designs. The City Planters are made of iron with a sealed rusted patina, or one can also select the color-dipped option for a colorblocked focal point.

The G-Pod is an outdoor structure designed for dining, creativity, lounging, or a mini modern office. One cool design feature: you can lower the table to turn the sitting area into a sleeping space. Oh and it rotates!

Connect 2.1 is modern prefab home born and built in Los Angeles. These eco, affordable prefabs use an evolutionary patent-pending modular system that allows for completed homes to be shipped everywhere and anywhere via truck, rail, or sea. Connect:Homes offers an exciting alternative for those looking to connect to better design and a better way to build. We're also excited that Connect:Homes has partnered with Kishani Perera and West Elm on the home that will be featured at Dwell on Design.

One of our favorite upper Midwest modern architects and furniture designers, Ralph Rapson, now has his iconic designs licensed through Rapson, Inc. The new collection features Rapson's Greenbelt line of chair designs, including the Rapson Rapid Rocker. A limited-edition version of this rocker is now available in a 1965 Verner Panton fabric and a black laminated American maple frame.
