Looking for a DIY [1] that is both superstylish and supersimple? Look no further than this lightbulb terrarium from Darby Smart [2]. It's the most unique succulent display we've ever seen, can be completed in three steps, and costs a grand total of $12 to make. Like we said, the simplest DIY ever. Keep reading for the directions.
Purchase Supplies
You'll need to purchase white gravel, a small air plant, preserved moss, and a lightbulb jar to tackle this DIY [3]; fortunately, you can buy everything at Darby Smart [4] for a mere $12.
Cultivate It
Add the gravel, moss, and air plant to your glass, and style it up! The flat bottom of the lightbulb jar provides a great base for a freestanding terrarium.
Care For It
Place your lightbulb terrarium in indirect light and spritz with water every two to three days (or more frequently if you live in a hot, dry environment). Be sure to remove the cap once a week to get enough air and light inside to dry it out. It's important to keep your terrarium water-free, so don't overspritz.
