It's here! Design fan Ellen DeGeneres [1] has finally launched her ED by Ellen [2] lifestyle collection, and we have to say, it's fabulous. The woman has many talents: hosting, being hilarious, and flipping houses [3]. But it's Ellen's passion for architecture and design that has inspired her latest endeavor, a full-fledged foray into the lifestyle world that's included a show on HGTV, Ellen's Design Challenge, and now ED by Ellen.
The ED by Ellen [4] e-shop is full of need-to-buy fashion offerings [5] and equally chic interior goods. The home collection is both personal and inspired. We love the recurring horse bit and horse head motif, a reference to Ellen's wife Portia de Rossi [6]'s love for riding. Ellen also brought in some serious design star power, teaming up with design guru John Derian to create a capsule collection of his trademark cheeky trays [7].
ED by Ellen's home collection has a decidedly luxe vibe, using high-end fabrics like linen and brass. However, the prices aren't astronomical. ED by Ellen is a great place to pick up a signature piece, especially for entertaining, and these are the 11 pieces we want to add to our own collection.
