Extravagant Rooms and Expensive Homes

Which Extravagant Room Would You Most Prefer to Have?

I spotted this luxurious massage room in an Upper East Side townhouse designed by New York interior designer Jennifer Post (whose home we toured this week), and couldn't quite believe my eyes. I've seen a few homes with foldout massage tables and several with a massage table set up in another room like a gym or a bedroom . . . but a dedicated room for the rubdown? That's living the good life.It got me thinking about other extravagancies some people have in their homes. From in-home theaters to indoor basketball courts, people with money have gotten very creative when it comes to what qualifies as a residential "room." Which of these extravagant rooms would you most prefer to have?

I second the crafts room, but my number one dream is a personal library. I already have tons on books, and I would love to have a big, beautiful room where I could organize them all and they would actually stay organized! I also wouldn't mind the massage room, theatre, or gym...

That's a hard one. I would have gone with the movie theater if I got new releases for it, or the wine cellar if it was fully stocked. I ended up going with the bowling alley as it doesn't need anything else in order to use it.

Ah I can't decide! Bar, theater or bowling alley! I also wish I had a wrapping/crafts room. One day!
