French Alps Cabin

The Ski Cabin Worthy of an OMG

If we won the lottery today, we'd be on a plane to this home tomorrow. Located in Val D'Isere, France (aka: a picturesque town in the Alps), this chalet makes for the ideal holiday setting. Putting the $38,000 per week price tag aside, Chalet La Tene does not lend itself to just any stay. For starters, it has every amenity one could imagine: wine cave, steam room, hot tub, and a very necessary ski room. But what really caught our eye is the home's perfect balance of a cozy, cabin-like appeal and modern design aesthetic. Designed by Oliver Thornton Architects of Stockholm, every inch of this Scandinavian-inspired interior reflects contemporary comfort. Whether it be the minimalist finishes softened with textures like cowhides or the grand dining room graced with an open fireplace, this home has us favoring the cold.
