What I like about these images (vignettes) is that it shows the accessibility of art. It encourages us to frame anything and surround ourselves with art in our daily lives. Art doesn't haven't to be one large (often expensive) piece over the sofa. Art is everywhere and we should surround ourselves with it. Another thing I like about these images is that they are grouped by color and/or textural appearance. This is a helpful idea for collections of small pieces or mixtures of art. I love inexpensive ways to create art. You can frame a piece of fabric that's the color or texture you like and mix it in with other pieces your children have made or you have made. Add some smalls by your favorite artists and you've got a wonderful wall collage that expresses who you are.
