Guest Bedroom Before and After Makeover

Before and After: Guest Bedroom

Here's a post from CasaSugar Community member CaraWilkerson from the Su Casa group:

Over the past week, we’ve been hard at work primping our guest bedroom. Keeping it green by decorating with items we already had hanging around the house or recycled from a previous owner, not only did we give ourselves a pat on the back for creating an earth-healthy space but also saved a bundle! Take a gander at our guest bedroom the day we moved in. You know it was in serious need of a little TLC . . .

. . . and now for our fabulously planet (and budget) friendly guest bedroom!

That’s our guest bedroom in a nutshell! For more photos and upcoming info on where we snagged all of the goods for this space, click here to visit Live the Home Life. — Cara

I really like it!! What about hanging something cute and small (maybe 2 items, vertical) to the left of the bed? Great job!!!

I love this room. It is timeless, yet it is also very fresh and new. You have mixed dark wood with light paint and fabrics and held it all together with the black metal/fabrics. This room is delightful!

Oops! Forgot to mention the paint is from Sherwin-Williams.

Thanks so much friends! We have been hard at work, but the finished product is always worth the sweat and paint-covered clothes. The paint color is 1/2 compatable cream & 1/2 napery. We used the same color in our master bedroom and loved it. Ella, we found all of the frames for $1.00 a piece at a local thrift store. Easy & super affordable way to decorate a wall.

So pretty. I can't believe how much you guys are getting done on that house! And the collage of empty wood frames, beautiful! I love your style!

I absolutely love it! My dream guest bedroom would feature that honey-yellow as well; it's just so warm and welcoming :-)

I really like it! :) Everything but the yellow really appeals to me, but I'm of a rare breed who doesn't love yellow. Very very nice!
