It is hard to find a house that is not covered in floral wall paper in the area that I live in. So If you buy a house in these parts and have modern or "contemporary" taste, a remodel is a must. I want to build for the next house I buy.

I've been working on my home for a couple of years but I haven't completed a single room. Kitchen still needs the backsplash, livingroom floor isn't done, master bath, etc. It seems it never ends. I keep finding more things that I want to do...

We're in the middle of renovating now. We are all sleeping and living in two rooms while the rest of the house gets done. It will be worth it when it's finished but right now, ugh!

I just finished renovating a home as well. My family has always been into home renovating. It's a fun, but expensive hobby.

i have done a lot at the parents' house. Some wall paper is a cinch others take hours and come off in pieces barely worth mentioning, so Siloh Jolie Pitt, you are right in it sucking, but the end results are definitely worth it and imagine the money you saved!

I'd be up for it. Unfortunately even the fixer uppers are in the 700k range where I live, but if I could just talk the hubs into moving....

we've been renovating for years. One step at a time. One tip: HIRE SOMEBODY TO REMOVE WALLPAPER. It totally sucks doing it yourself.
