House Tour and Interview With Interior Designer Kriste Michelini

House Tour and Interview With Interior Designer Kriste Michelini

You're in for a treat today: interior designer Kriste Michelini has been kind enough to share a tour of her Alamo, CA home and answer a few questions! With the help of architectural designer Esther Suzuki Arnold, Michelini says she "gutted most of the interior of her home and added 1,500 square feet to create breezeway-like living, dining, and kitchen spaces that flow from one room to the next." Using mostly all white in her furnishings and wall color, Kriste has created a home that feels spacious, open, and welcoming. One of her key design strategies, she says, is "repeating color and design motifs to create a visual consistency and sense of expansiveness." The proof is in the pudding of this calming home, so come along and check it out her home and read our interview!
