The Property Brothers are renaissance men [1] with their hands in a lot of different projects, but at heart, they know design and give out great home decor advice. When we chatted with the guys at the Producer's Ball event [2] in Toronto, we wanted to know their thoughts on making your home cozy as we get into the Fall and Winter seasons — and how you can do it without breaking the bank.

Jonathan Scott assured us that it's simple. "You don't have to spend a fortune. If someone wants to mix everything up, you can do it with throws and pillows. I like to think that the Winter feels cozy, so bigger, fluffier throws are nice — it makes you want to curl up in front of the fire." Jonathan also added that you could get one big-ticket item for ultimate coziness. "If you don't have a real fireplace, some of the electric fireplaces today are insane."
