Trick or Treat! Target Released Its Halloween Collection — Here Are 30 Items We Love

How Much Would You Pay for This?

Normally I'm totally on board with Anthropologie's home items. I love its upholstery fabric, fanciful chandeliers, and elegantly shaped furniture. But, I cannot abide by these Fairy Tale Ottomans. Each retails at $298, and Anthropologie claims that they're a "wildly imaginative take on the traditional footstool....Its petal top calls to mind make-believe flowers." my opinion they call to mind tatty preschool furniture from the '70s. Am I off base here, Casa readers? Let me know by telling me how much you'd pay for these odd little ottomans.

i would definitley NOT purchase for myself at any price, including free. Maybe if they were free I'd put it in a playroom for my neices.

i wouldn't pay anything and if it was given to me free i'd throw it away. MAYBE if i had kids i'd feel differently, but they look so old school that i think even kids today would not be impressed.

This is ridiculously priced. I could easily make it, and it's cute, but only for a child's room.

I think they're kinda cute for a kids room. I would not pay full price however.

Sorry, girls, I'm a Yuppie Parent and I love these. I think they've got a European, funky, hand-made, uber look to them. Not so boring, Pottery Barn Kids. That being said, I wouldn't pay more than $50 for some felt layered ottomans that my kids and cats would rip apart in under a year.

i'd only take it if it was free and only so my dog could use it as a chew toy.

Nope, not even if they were free.

I said I would pay $50ish... but, that is only to use in a kids room... This is not ADULT furniture!

Agreed CasaSugar, they're tasteless tack that parents like to decorate they childrens bedroom with and wonder why they turn out as psychotic serial killers. There's an interior design crime and the perp should be locked away for life!

The 2nd and 4th from the left would be kind of cute for a nursery. But I agree with many of you; I could make this myself for much less.

wtf? i am sure i can find something less ridiculous to splurge $300 on!

This would only work in a kids room - and even then it's still ugly

If I had a 3-year-old girl, maybe. And that's a big maybe. I think I could do better with a little felt and craft glue.
