We didn't think it was possible, but Ikea just got even better. The company has announced it will start selling all kinds of sweets in in-store candy shops all over the US! That means the next time you're going floor to floor in search of the perfect bookshelf [1] or coffee table, you can take a break and treat yourself to a mix-and-match bag of gummies, sour candy, marshmallows, chocolate, licorice, and more. The idea comes from Lördagsgodis, or "Saturday candy," a decades-old Scandinavian tradition in which kids would go to the candy store on Saturdays (thankfully, Ikea's candy stores will be open every day). You don't even have to feel guilty for indulging because Ikea promises all the candy is free of trans fat, GMOs, artificial colors, and high-fructose corn syrup. The candy stores are currently available in the Swedish Food Market of most Ikea stores across the country and they will continue to open throughout the Summer. This just gives us another reason to hang out at Ikea, and we're not complaining.
