Ikea's Bekväm Cart ($60) can add extra storage and work space to a cramped kitchen, but it has another handy perk you may not have considered: versatility! Composed of solid, unfinished birch, this piece is a breeze to customize, making it a favorite among DIYers. Though the possibilities are seemingly endless, we're sharing three of our favorite ideas for flipping this blank canvas of a cart.

A can of pistachio spray paint and a chrome towel bar was all Meg Zandi at Radical Possibility needed to fix up her cart — OK, and maybe some pretty props. While she admits to succumbing to the cheap spray paint temptation at least once, this high-quality, fast-drying spray paint is her new go-to for furniture flips.
