Inexpensive Faux Fur Throws

Desire/Acquire: Faux Fur Throw

Pottery Barn at ShopStyle

I bought a faux fur comforter from Pottery Barn about eight years ago — oh I am such a trendsetter! — and it's so gosh darn cozy. Even though in the wintertime, I tend to walk around my apartment wearing the thing like a robe and vehemently refuse to take it off, I am tempted to buy an additional faux fur throw for my living room. The smaller size seems more convenient, practical, and well, less embarrassing. That said, I'm not sure whether I want to shell out $99 for Pottery Barn's current Faux-Fur Throw. So I've been looking for a more affordable alternative, and whadya know? I found a much cheaper option! Want to see it?

The Chris Madden Faux Fur Throw ($20) at JCPenney is such a steal! It's available in black, brown, and leopard print (ayee!), but I think the black looks the most sophisticated. I also heard there are more fur throws available in-store, so I might have to check them out in person first.

Do you already own a faux fur throw?

I have the Pottery Barn one at top and LOVE it. I bought it about 4 or 5 years ago.

my MIL regifted us a large black faux fur/microsuede blanket. however i find microsuede tacky and am pretty picky about faux fur so i offered it again to a friend that was moving out of her parents place with not much money and she said it was totally her thing.. to each his own right the jc penny one looks great in the picture.
