Make Leonardo DiCaprio's Billionaire's Beach Home Your Summer Hangout

Mar 30 2015 - 11:38am

He may have met a watery demise in Titanic [1], but Leonardo DiCaprio [2]'s real-life Malibu, CA, beach house is a waterfront paradise — and he's willing to give you the key, for a price. The actor is renting his charming Cape Cod-style, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in the prestigious Carbon Beach area, aka Billionaire's Beach, for a cool $23,000 to $50,000 a month, depending on the season.

The 1,765-square-foot home has party pad written all over it, from the barbecue area to the hot tub overlooking the water. Leo is rumored [3] to have bought the home for his mother back in 1998 for a steal at $1.6 million — the average lot on this beach today goes for $15 million.

Despite the potential sale profit, Leo seems to prefer life as a landlord; he also recently put his Palm Springs, CA, home [4] up for rent at $4,500 a night.

The pastel-hued kitchen has a decidedly beachy vibe.

Talk about waterfront access! Stairs lead directly from the home's deck to the beach.

A cozy living room is the perfect place for entertaining or playing games after a long day catching waves.

We wonder if Leo took in the spectacular Carbon Beach views in this hot tub with any of his leading ladies!
