Love It or Hate It? Bird's Wing Dish

Love It or Hate It? Bird's Wing Dish

From designer Ted Muehling, this bird’s wing dish is a three-dimensional sculptural piece made of white bisque porcelain. I'm a little torn about this. Part of me thinks it would look lovely on my dresser with some sparkly baubles in its center, while the other half thinks that it kind of looks like, well, fossilized road kill.

Definitely different but not in a good way... Creepy! No good vibes for me. Would look great on the Adam's family dinner table though!

I agree with kathleenjoy. It made me want to cry and I felt I had to look away. I would never have it in my home.

I'm with chancleta on this one. I kinda love it. In this picture, it looks lovely, and the comparisons to the angel of death (which I would be more likely to picture with black wings) and road kill don't make me like it less.

I agree with Twinkle. I almost think it would be better on a wall than as a dish.

It's OK on its own but I think actually using it as a dish would spoil it.

Not for me, it looks like a calling card from the angel of death.
