Love It or Hate It? CB2 Keep Calm and Carry On Rug

When the Keep Calm and Carry On posters first hit the design blogosphere a few years ago, I admit that I loved them. While I still admire the message, I'm a little tired of seeing it everywhere!

However, if you can't get enough of it, you can buy the CB2 Keep Calm and Carry On Rug ($199). Made of hand-tufted wool in a signature CB2 orange, it's definitely cheaper than this version from Pedlars.

I have to agree with you... the posters are a little over done...

It's fine as a poster, but a rug is overkill. Rugs are supposed to have staying power, hence the usually expensive pricetag attached to them. A trendy saying is better suited for something disposable, such as a small 8x11 piece of paper.

eurgh as a rug this is horrible! i do like the posters etc.... but i know what you mean - it's overdone! however, when i was at treacle the cupcake shop in columbia road, london... they use the motto 'eat cake and carry on' :) this is funny and cute! you can buy merchandise with this on from the store and they have amazing cupcakes and tea!! i don't have a photo but i found a blog which did:
