Love It or Hate It? Heather Mills's One-Hue Home

Love It or Hate It? Heather Mills's One-Hue Home

Heather Mills's three-bedroom London home is on the market for nearly $6.2 million, less than one year after she purchased the property for nearly $3.9 million. She's what we'd call a flipper. In most cases houses that have been flipped are designed with the buyer in mind, but I don't know how many people would find this shiny beige spread appealing. Tell me, is this one-hue home your champagne dream or champagne nightmare?

what? did she run out of money? in this economy, who still obnoxiously flips homes? i guess obnoxious people...?

I wouldn't say "hate" but I would redecorate as soon as I moved in.

I love it, but only because of the dark contrasts with the pillows to the light beige. I also like that the couch and curtains have a slightly darker tone. If it was truly all that light color, I'd hate it, but the contrasts in the same color family make it look nice.

I'd need SOME color.

It's not one-hue. It's called tone-on-tone color palette.Personally, I love it. It happens to my personal taste.

A pop of colour would be nice but beige is inoffensive and should appeal the a large amount of people. I like it. I think it's nice.

I said "love it" because it's like a blank canvas - you can totally spice it up with a few punches of color or bold prints

Too much beige for me, but it would be very easy to add color.

I said "hate" only because I couldn't live in that 24/7/365. But it's lovely in pictures and I wouldn't mind visiting a place like that, just not to live in permanently.

i actually kind of like this. it's very sophisticated looking. if i owned the house, though, i'd liven it up with bright punches of color here and there. it's a good tactic to sell a house because the buyers will be looking at the actual house and not being distracted by decorating.
