Love It or Hate It? Illuminated Art-Deco Wall Panel

This circa '50s French illuminated wall panel (contact dealer for price) would certainly add a dash of Deco glamour to a home. I can see it in a Hollywood Regency-style mansion or a Deco-decorated theater, but I can hardly imagine it in any other home. Can you?

It seems like something you would see in a museum but it's nothing I'd want in my home.

This is SO not my style. And I find it to be pretty ugly.

Well if it came in another form say a beautiful sun i would have it in my entrance hall (imagining a big wall made of stones and facing my entrance room. I'd put a big and tall vase on the floor beside the ornament with some birds of paradise flowers. Well i like the idea not the modal!

I wish I had a place for it in my house, but it just wouldn't match. I must've been French in a previous life because I'm drawn to all things French.

I wouldn't mind seeing it somewhere more formal but I wouldn't want it for myself.

I don't like it... but I can see it in one of those Deco styled hotels in Miami Beach.
