Love It or Hate It? Permanent Markered Walls

As an affordable and creative alternative to wallpapering, DIY Ideas used permanent marker to draw moldings, an ornate fireplace grill, candelabras, mirror chain, and a wallpaper-like pattern on the walls. It's not flawless, but its free-hand quality gives it charm. I'm not sure this effect is quite my style, but I think it works in this shabby chic bedroom. What do you think?

Shabby chic is so not my style, but this works here. Might be cute for a little girl's room.

If you can't add a bit of whimsy to your bedroom... where can you? I applaud them for getting creative and having some fun.

ha - it's quite cute but it reminds me of the backdrop for a pantomime when the set is all drawn on :) therefore have to vote against. even though hate is a bit of a strong word!
