Love It or Hate It? Principessa Daybed

London-based design firm Doshi Levien designed the Principessa Daybed for Moroso. It consists of several thin mattress layers and was inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's tale "The Princess and the Pea." I think it's absolutely charming and clever, and would bring a bit of nostalgic whimsy to any room! What do you think?

I think it's ugly!!! To say nothing of totally impractical!! Are those mattresses individual? Then they would slip off. Are they "hooked" together? Then, how do you wash them? It's just silly. Besides, if you MUST have it, do it yourself and save oodles of money!!

Part of me really7 likes it but part of me really hates it. The mattresses clash. It's not really practical either.

Cute, but I don't like the mattress colors. They're too chaotic for me. If the mattresses came in a more neutral palette, I would prefer that more.

Clever but not practical. the mattresses would slip off if you lay on them.

I think it's fun, clever and whimsical, but it would look horrid in my apartment
