On the Market: Jade Jagger's Swank London Pad

On the Market: Jade Jagger's Swank London Pad

Jade Jagger, jewelry designer and daughter of Mick & Bianca Jagger, has put her 1,989-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bath Queens Park, London home on the market for $2.4 million. The listing for the property reads:

This stunning three bedroom house provides exceptionally well presented living and entertaining space, well arranged over two spacious floors and boasts a fabulous location, moments from the beautiful open spaces of Queen's Park. Offering lavish, extremely well presented accommodation throughout, the property comprises fabulous reception and dining room, convenient eat-in kitchen opening onto garden, master bedroom with incredible en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, two further generous bedrooms, glamorous bathroom with mosaic mirror wall and ceiling tiles and charming private garden to the rear.

Jagger's home is full of swank, attitude, and quirky Brit style, but you couldn't expect any less from such a style maven and rock-and-roll heiress. The space has modern, clean-lined furniture, glossy walls and ceilings, and contemporary staples like Lucite chairs and Kartell lighting. But she's balanced it with traditional pieces like a Persian rug, hand-painted tiles, shabby chic white armchairs, a George Sherlock sofa, and grass cloth wallpaper. She's also introduced a few statement pieces like her neon "Jezebel" wall light, which is a reference to her middle name, and also the moniker of her lifestyle brand, as well as gold-plated stripper pole in the center of her glitzy bathroom. Crazy. Boyfriend DJ Dan Williams is most likely responsible for the turntable in the living room, though. Jagger also has a farm in Ibiza with "solar power, a water recycling unit, organic veg and goats," so who knows if she'll be sticking around in London or not.

somehow, it's so bland, though some elements i like, nothing really stands out and it's not cozy. especially the kitchen is mediocre compared to the rest of the apartment

I've been seeing lots of black chandeliers around lately!

I love George Sherlock furniture. My parents have a two-seater sofa, an ottoman, and two loveseats. It took them over six months to receive them and they were pricey, but it was definitely worth the wait. After nearly 10 years of having them and using them constantly, they have held up nicely.

I think that kitchen is to die for. Especially the bright green pendant lamp against the light green walls.

Meh.

The interior is just too "glossy".
