Midday Muse: Light in the Garden

While I can't condone open-candle use in trees, I have to admit that I'm completely in love with this idea conceptually. Just add a few LED candles to replace the open-flame variety, and you're set.

Are you a fan of this idea? How would you interpret it in your backyard?

I adore this! I can imagine having a dinner out with just this lighting, not just romantic dinners, but also ones with intimate friends or family, or one on one talks.

It's very "magic realism" – I love it! I think that it would be especially magical it the trees had some photovoltaic led fairy lights!

I like it - provided they make sure it's fire safe. In Venice, California, you see fanciful outside lights hung in trees and it's so beautiful especially when you can hear the laughter of the people enjoying their al fresco hideaways.

It could work in the right setting. I agree, a little spooky, maybe an outdoor Halloween party?
