If Money Wasn't an Issue...

If Money Wasn't an Issue...

The Teorema floor lamp ($5,536) was designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2005. Made of chrome-plated metal and polycarbonate, this complex floor lamp has a sculptural elegance not found in many designs. This lamp definitely has a lot going on, but I can see how it could be a stunning centerpiece in a minimal home. So, if money wasn't an issue, would you welcome this lamp into your home?

In a VERY modern house, it would be the perfect addition.

It looks like the stuff my kids make with their legos.

I don't like it for me, but if money wasn't an issue, I might put it in a teenagers room. Maybe.

I'd rather spend that money on something I like. This is horrible!

i kind of like it but i don't think that it would fit in my place at all. i like the colors though and the metal structure is kind of cool

It's a rendition of Mondrian art (or Silverchair's new CD Young Modern). I know some artsy kids who would love it, but not for me.

not my style but my roommate might like it

I think it's hideous, but I suppose certain homes could rock it. I would NEVER believe how much it cost though!

So ugly, my eyes hurt.

I love it! It reminds me of a Mondrian and I have always loved that style. It wouldn't fit my current home decor, but if I could afford to spend $5000 on a lamp, I would absolutely redo everything around it.

That being said, if I could afford a $5000+ lamp, I would be able to hire a housekeeper to dust it! It's still not my style, though.

It looks like it would be a pain to dust! Sadly, that's the first thing I think of when I decide to buy any home accessories. It comes from years of having to dust every single what-not in my mother's home. She has soooo many. I would rather clean the bathrooms than dust!
