Nice and New: Fun Grouped Frames at Chiasso

I've been seeing a lot of frames grouped haphazardly on walls lately, and really love the look. No more need for those pain-in-the-*** levels! I noticed that Chiasso has chimed in on the trend with several configurations of grouped frames ($38-$148) that are already attached to each other. Yes, it takes some of the inventiveness out of the idea. I still think they look good, and are almost artwork themselves. A different piece of patterned paper in each frame looks great, especially if you're not an art collector!

I agree part of the fun is arranging the individual frames yourself.

i like it, but i don't think i'd spend the money. i imagine i could put together something like this with cheap wooden ikea frames.

This is cool, but it takes a lot of the creativity out of grouping the frames yourself.

I prefer grouping individual frames together instead of this. I grouped about 20 of my wedding photos together on a wall and it looks awesome. I wouldn't have considered something like this...part of the fun was arranging them.

you can get nearly the same thing, except for MUCH MUCH cheaper, at target: (sorry for my poor html skills)

i like who these frames and the contents of the frame create a different piece of art, its not sloppy, tacky or what have you, its just different from the norm, i really like it.

Depending on the scheme of the room, this could work.

Esix, this is perfect for me, then. I'm not too lazy, but definitely too clumsy. I'd rather have prefab than uneven pictures all over my wall. I think I might head to Chiasso this weekend and pick one up.

This just looks tacky. If you can't be bothered to do the work and hang the frames up by yourself in a nice configuration, just leave it. This just shouts:" I want the look but I'm too lazy and/or clumsy to hang multiple frames on the wall, so I'll just go with pre-fab"
