How incredibly sad that you would think that the home you love is worth $42 million....starving, education, basic living....42 million...reality check......get some environmental values....you could save so much for this price tag...just think..

There are a lot of features I like about this house — the view in particular is amazing — but I will say I wouldn't pay $42M for it. I've seen to many lovelier options. What do you think of that cage-y gate? It kind of scares me, but I bet it keeps the paparazzi out!

These photos aren't much to look at but, judging from the photos in the ArchDigest story, this house is NOT good looking nor is it well designed. It looks cold and unwelcoming. From what I remember, the best thing about the house was the view and even that was negated by the terrace which was cold and hard with no soft surface in sight. Having said that, I'm sure there is someone out there who would pay $42M for this place, even though it's not worth nearly that.
