Poll on Using Windsor Smith Room in a Box Mail Order Design Service

Would You Ever Try a Mail-Order Decorating Service?

Not everyone can afford an interior designer, and fewer can afford a top-name interior designer like Windsor Smith. However, this savvy designer is offering you the chance to have the best of both worlds with her new decorating service, Room in a Box.

To use the service, you choose a room, measure its dimensions, send in pictures, and complete an online lifestyle questionnaire. Then Windsor Smith completes a six-week design process to outfit the room. Clients then receive a package including a scaled floor plan, room rendering and story board, as well as furnishing and fabric selections. The service costs between $900 and $4,800 per room, not including actual furnishings or accents.

Take a look at the video below, and then let me know whether you'd try this service or one similar to it.

I wouldn't pay that much for a service that I could find in my own town for a better deal. Then you get the designer's discount on furnishings...especially awesome if they own a store or boutique.
