Do you have a killer rehab project you're itching dig into, but you lack the resources to get it started? Do you wish you could have the help of a pro like Rehab Addict's Nicole Curtis? Well, now you can have both. Nicole is so passionate about restoration that she's teamed up with handheld torch manufacturer Bernzomatic [1] for the "Find Your Fire" contest to fund the three best community revitalization projects in America; think cleaning up a neighborhood playground or restoring a local landmark. The project must use a blowtorch in some way.

"I really need people to understand how easy it is to apply and win this project," Nicole told us. You merely log onto Bernzomatic.com/Grants [2] and submit your project by Dec. 7. Nicole will then help select 10 finalists and America will vote to determine the three winners, who will each receive a $10,000 community grant and slew of Bernzomatic products. The project with the most votes will also receive a helpful visit from Nicole.

"I'm actually looking at these projects [submissions] everyday," Nicole told us, so we had to ask her what makes an application stand out when she's looking for finalists. Her answer was simple: "Get creative! People need to get creative on this," she said, adding with a laugh, "throw a rescue dog in there somewhere, that always gets my heart."
