San Francisco residents are passionate about their food, and that's at least doubly so if you're a San Francisco dweller who's also a food photographer and blogger. Kimberley Hasselbrink, the food photographer and creator of the blog The Year in Food, also deals with a less-than-ideal rental kitchen, but manages to make it work — beautifully so — thanks to a few tricks and tips.
One of her tips is the sensible advice to work with great tools. It's easier said than done, but splurging for the perfect rubber scraper or whisk can really save time in the kitchen — plus, they look gorgeous when displayed in pots or vases.
