The Smallest Rental House in the World

Have House, Will Travel: The World's Smallest Portable House

In addition to being the smallest and least expensive (one euro a night!) rental on Airbnb, the 1SQM house might also be the cutest.

An idea conceived and initiated by Berlin-based designer Van Bo Le-Mentzel, the 1SQM is a tiny portable house that offers privacy, security, and shelter for travelers who want to explore the city but might not have the means. Because of its size and lightweight construction, the 1SQM can easily be wheeled through doors, onto elevators, and even on Berlin's public trains, meaning that guests can make themselves at home almost anywhere in the city.

When you are ready to go to sleep, simply turn the 1SQM on its side, climb in, and lie down!
