Su Casa: Ndchristine's Smartly Arranged Frames

Su Casa: Ndchristine's Smartly Arranged Frames

After moving into an old farmhouse a few months ago, Su Casa member ndchristine and her husband have slowly been updating the place, as time and money allows. I love how she has hung the frames behind her television. The organic arrangement works with the low placement of the TV, rather than fighting it — as a single, large frame or painting hung above it would. She's also balanced the frames to the right of TV with a set of candlesticks to the left. So chic and perfectly imperfect! I also LOVE her kilim rug that's peeking out there; what a good find. Have you made any changes to your home recently? Be sure to post them to our Su Casa group!

I love this... I finally caved to the bf's pleas to have an LCD in the bedroom. I think I'll do something like this to warm it up.

Diamond - thanks! I have an aunt who covered one wall in her living with pictures - every inch - and it looked unbelievable. I'm hoping to eventually do the same here. Actually - my goal is uneven spacing and close together - I don't want it to look like a typical gallery wall of pictures.

Typically, people hang their pictures too high. There's no need to place them 5 inches from the ceiling. It's also important to keep in mind the even spacing between all the pictures will make it easier for the eye to take it all in. I don't care for the above, everything looks crooked and cramped, but again, nothing a little spacing wouldn't help.
