HGTV star Tarek El Moussa's battle with thyroid cancer has been well documented since a Flip or Flop viewer discovered it [1] in 2013. Tarek and his now estranged wife Christina (they announced their separation in December and Tarek filed for divorce [2] in January) have always been fairly candid about the infertility battle they faced as a result of his treatment and the physical and emotional struggles of recovering from thyroid removal [3].

What they did not share, until now, is that Tarek was diagnosed with more than thyroid cancer. The father of two just revealed on the television show The Doctors that he also had testicular cancer. "The worst part wasn't the cancer, but the aftermath," he said when addressing his recovery on the show. "The physical and emotional effects. Drops in testosterone, emotions, and weight."

Fortunately, Tarek is cancer free [4] today. "For the first time in a long, long time, I feel good. It was a miserable three years, I'll be honest with you. I'm finally at a place with UCLA where everything is dialed, and I feel terrific," he said.
