Tarnished Silver Tray and a Home Bar

Before and After: My Tarnished Silver Tray

I discovered this silver tray of mine in the back of my kitchen cabinet, hiding behind some cookie sheets I never use. I'd totally forgotten I owned it. Not only was it frighteningly tarnished when I discovered it, but it was also dirty and had dozens of ring marks on it. I'd used it in the past to stash mail and keys in my foyer, and after one wild party it wound up completely trashed. I was worried I might have to send it to a professional but tried polishing it myself first. After spending a good 30 minutes scrubbing away at the thing with nearly half a jar of Gorham Anti-Tarnish Silver Polish, it shined like the top of the Chrysler building!

Voilà! Here she is! I received a vintage crystal decanter and a fancy new Rabbit wine opener set for Christmas, and I recently purchased a new cocktail shaker, so setting up the bar was a cinch! All I need now is a set of bar tools, but I haven't found one that I like yet.
