Tip For Rearranging a Room

Casa Quickie: Swap the Art For a Room Refresh

I'll often visit my mother's home and ask her if she redecorated or bought new furniture, only to find that all she's done is rearrange her artwork. It makes such a difference and requires little to no effort. If you're limited by space and/or the size of your furniture and can't do much in the way of rearranging your big pieces, switching the artwork around in your home can give rooms a quick refresh without throwing your back out. For the easiest solution, don't even touch the hammer and nails, just switch up the pieces using the existing hanging fixtures. In some cases, if you're moving an oversize piece to where something smaller was, the fixture may need to be replaced with something more heavy duty or the nail moved to a stud.

If you do decide to switch around your artwork, be sure to post before and after photos in the Su Casa group!
