Tips on an Productive Home Office

Tips For Creating an Organized, Eco-Friendly Home Office

These days, many of us are working at least part of the time from home. However, most people who work from home don't take the time to properly prepare their working space. Whether you have an entire room for your home office, or simply a corner of a living room or bedroom, there are plenty of ways you can improve your workspace.

  • Unplug. Turn off phones, blinking lights, televisions, radio talk shows, and other distracting devices. Not only do they cut down on your productivity, they also add to your power bill.
  • Open the curtains. Letting in a little sunshine allows you to keep your lights switched off. This lowers your power bill and allows you to soak in some positive energy, since natural sunlight is linked to better moods.
