I would love to do this, but I know my husband would never be OK with strangers staying in our house! He's too afraid of being robbed.

I've thought about this now that we'll actually be living somewhere people would WANT to stay. Lol. I would definitely consider it!

I need a maybe- it actually seems like it could be a lot of work, having to secure certain possessions (I wouldn't leave my sterling or jewelry in my home while strangers were there) and have the house professionally cleaned before and after the vacay. I see the upside, but it's not a completely free vacation.

Hell yes! My bf & I are looking into house swaps for Ireland.. We want to move there eventually as do his parents. His parents are planning to swap their beach house and if we needed to, we could swap his condo.. would be AWESOME. But yes, I'd do it just for a holiday as well :heart:
